Kilwins was founded by Don and Katy Kilwin over 75 years ago. They wanted to share their passion for candy-making with everyone, which led them to start the first Kilwins store back in 1947. From the moment they created their first batch of chocolate, they knew they had something special. Over the years, Kilwins has grown into the confectionery we know today.
At Kilwins, we’re proud of our tradition of handcrafting chocolates down to the tiniest detail. Our methods and our recipes reflect those used by Don and Katy. We watch over every part of the process, from using Fair Trade Certified™ cocoa to hand-dipping and decorating many of our confections. Doing these things ourselves allows us to present the best end product and make sure everything is up to the very high Kilwins standard.
