Our Newtown Square ice cream store is an amazing addition to the neighborhood, and we couldn’t be prouder. We’re part of a long line of Kilwins store owners throughout the United States who have continued upholding Don and Katy Kilwins’ vision and legacy of making delicious treats. We love sharing our love for truffles, mini chocolate bars, and various other goodies with our Newtown Square neighbors.
Many of our recipes have been enjoyed by generations of Kilwins fans—perhaps even by your grandparents or great-grandparents! For example, we’ve been making our Kilwins Original Recipe Ice Cream since 1985, and our Mackinac Island Fudge goes all the way back to 1947.

Kilwins signature Mackinac Island Fudge is one of our most beloved recipes. We still use Don Kilwins’ technique —making the fudge on marble countertops. With the 1947 recipe as the base, we often add new seasonal flavors! Stop by throughout the year to see what’s in store.
Our Squire Drive location is near several parks; if you need dessert for a picnic, we have just the thing. Caramel corn and hand-dropped nut clusters are two recommendations, but we have plenty more!

Our Newtown Square Kilwins team doesn’t take any chances when it comes to the quality of our ice cream and other products. We make our waffle cones onsite and run our own temperature-controlled transport trucks to protect the ice cream and its consistency. We stay true to our standards every step (and mile) of the way.
