Our candy cooking process, started by our founders Don and Katy Kilwin, has remained mostly the same over the years, including our Sugar Land chocolate store.

One of our favorite examples of our ongoing dedication to the art of desserts is our Mackinac Island Fudge. Mackinac Island Fudge came to the national stage in the 1940s in Michigan. Bakers in Michigan poured the hot fudge from the copper kettles onto cool marble, pulling and pushing the fudge by hand until it cooled into perfect, creamy slices. You can find Mackinac Island Fudge at our Sugar Land chocolate store in classic chocolate and several other flavors, including new ones throughout the year.

We take a similar approach to making caramel apples (from Granny Smith apples coated in copper kettle-made caramel), Heritage chocolates, TUTTLE™ nut caramels, various brittles, and more. We work with local and family farms to source the ingredients used to make our premium base. From there, we mix in only the best inclusions to make the amazing flavors our Sugar Land ice cream store is famous for.

Over time, we’ve steadily expanded the flavors we have available throughout the year, and we’re constantly trying out new flavor combinations to roll out or release as limited-time specials. In order to guarantee that our deliveries reach each store in pristine condition, our ice cream is kept in customized tubs. The ice cream then travels to our Sugar Land ice cream store in temperature-controlled trucks that we own and operate ourselves.
